The Language of Love — Reflection for Pentecost Sunday

On the day of Pentecost the Apostles were together with Mary and there are people from different regions who spoke different languages. When the Holy Spirit came upon them, they all understood one another though they spoke different languages. The message of the Gospel is one and the same. The language of God is the language a love, a language that transcends human linguistics. With the the recent civil unrest and violence, we must come together as one community as the early Church did for only then will we be able to understand one another, speaking the language of love.
