God is in all things. But we try to take God out of things. We find the need to separate and dichotomize. “God belongs in church.” “Take God out of this.” God is not confined to any one place. And if we were to take God out of something, that thing would cease to exist. God is “over all, through all, and in all” (Eph. 4:6). All things come through Him. And so it is fitting that we see Him in all things. Faith and culture should not be separated from one another. Our faith allows us to see and experience our culture in a much deeper and more profound way. So, let’s try to see God in all things.
