Communion of Love — Reflection for Trinity Sunday

Catholics believe in a Triune God, that is One God in Three Divine Person. We do not believe in three gods -- there is only one God. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are also not parts of a greater whole. They are three distinct persons, but One God. They are of the same substance and nature. For us, we may come to see them as a Community of Love. Since God is love, then the Trinity is a Communion of Love and the nature of their relationship is Love, and we as Christians partake in that love. The Father loves us already, but will we choose to receive it?
