The Grain that Dies - Reflection for the Fifth Week of Lent

This is the last week before Holy Week. In this past Sunday’s readings we hear about God’s covenant with His people, the Son learning obedience from what He suffered, becoming the “source of eternal life,” and only a grain that falls to the ground that dies will bear fruit. As disciples, we are asked to lose our lives. What does that mean? How can we lose our life and yet find it?
