Gift of the Eucharist — Reflection for Corpus Christi Sunday

Today the Church celebrates “Corpus Christi Sunday” or the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. As Catholics we believe that the Eucharist is not simply a symbol of Jesus’s body or that it is merely a reminder of what Jesus did for us. Rather, the Eucharist, the bread and wine that has been transformed is the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Our Lord. Jesus is really and truly present in the Eucharist. Join Philip in reflecting upon this great gift.
